Hey my beautiful souls

 

How are you doing? Be honest now...

 I hope you are doing BLISSFULLY!!!

 

 This past week has been filled with ups and downs if I am being completely honest, HOWEVER I have tried to stay connected to source as best I can.

Being grounded and rooted is something that I strive for daily, the main practice I undertake for this is ..dun dun duuuuun...MEDITATION.

 

I know that this word scares some people, I get it. I honestly do.

For years I said I wanted to start meditating but there was always something that drove me away from it, I just believed it wasn’t for me. The thought of my mind not running faster than Usain was such a myth.

 

Last year I started to meditate and in all honesty it really did change my life. Meditation brought a calmness to my existence that I never knew existed, let alone knew I needed.

 

Did I keep it up? Nah :(  (I did go a solid 5 months meditating every day though!!!) Yaay me.

The reason I gave up was...well honestly I don't fully know. Spirit really whooped my ass for it though.

 

This year I decided it was time to get back to it seriously. It hasn’t been the easiest journey to restart, I feel like a beginner again however that is ok because at least I have taken the first step. It can take a while to master meditation, you have to take time with yourself, with your mind and your breath. It will come, just don't give up!!!

 

The last few blog posts I have had writing exercises but this time I am switching it up.

There is such a range of different meditations, contrary to what you may believe, it doesn’t have to be you just sitting in silence. The fun is trying out different styles and finding one that is right for you.

This weeks blog was a little different but I was called to share the beauty of meditation, maybe just one person tries it and it changes their life….I would have then fulfilled a purpose.

 

A reminder… this is YOUR journey, what works and resonates with one soul may not resonate with yours and that is OKAY. Don’t force anything, it is all Divine timing and Divine guidance.
